Even though he is dead now, Yasmeen is still going through the trauma from what she endured. She sees Geoff’s face and voice everywhere. She’s dealing with him continuing to punish her after his death via debt collectors. She is having such a difficult time, ended up collapsing, and was hospitalized due to post-traumatic stress (PTSD).

Elaine has been fundamental in helping Yasmeen. She didn’t want to get involved at first, but soon stepped up. When Yasmeen is hospitalized, she goes and encourages her to stand up and fight. Now, she’s going to move in with her. Even though Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) is suspicious, producer Iain MacLeod said that the two women would have a hilarious and odd friendship. So, we don’t think there is anything “up” with Elaine moving in. Her lease is up, the drive is long, and Yasmeen needs the company and help. So, why not?

According to The Sun, there are some fans who are convinced that Yasmeen and Elaine will become the soap’s newest lesbian couple. Because whenever two women become roommates or become BFFs, of course, it always leads to a passionate lesbian love affair. Aside from my sarcasm, it’s always possible that they could end up in a love affair. It would be a lot better than watching either of them deal with Geoff’s horrid abuse.
