ITV Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal that Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) changes her mind. Instead of saying she’s guilty, she will enter a plea of not guilty. However, she fears how Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) will react. When the abusive monster does learn of it, he convinces Tim Metcalfe (Jim Duttine) that they must stand united. But could he turn on his father?
Yasmeen Metcalfe’s Intention
Corrie spoilers reveal that Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) is stunned to find out that her grandmother intends on pleading guilty to the charge of attempted murder. She tries to reason with Yasmeen but the abuse victim is not ready to face the truth. At least, she wasn’t at that time. She will end up making a decision that will shock everyone.
Corrie Spoilers: Alya Nazir’s Insistence
During the week of June 8, fans will see Alya continuing to encourage Yasmeen to open up about her life with Geoff. Slowly, she begins to reveal certain things, like being forced to eat her pet chicken. Alya is horrified and the more she learns from Yasmeen, the more furious and heartbroken she gets.
Pleading Not Guilty
Coronation Street spoilers reveal that when it comes time for Yasmeen to enter a plea, she says “not guilty.” This is a huge moment and it seems like this story is finally taking a turn in the right direction. However, there is still Geoff to think about, per Metro.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Geoff Metcalfe Reacts
When Yasmeen enters the not guilty plea, she fears how Geoff will react. Of course, he is furious and realizes he has lost his iron-clad grip on Yasmeen. Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dyvenor) is already sickened by Geoff and kicks him out.

However, there is still a problem with Tim. Geoff convinces his son that they need to stand together as a united front. At first, Tim will be on his father’s side. But he has to know in his gut that his father is guilty. But will he do anything about it or continuing staying loyal to a monster?
Expect Tim to be pulled in two different directions. Could he end up turning on his father at the last moment? It’s definitely possible because there has to be a good ending for Yasmeen in the near future. Let’s hope that Tim ends up doing the right thing as the truth becomes too obvious to ignore. To find out, we will have to keep watching the ITV soap.
