Born in San Mateo, California, Lamon was actually raised by his grandparents. He played baseball and football during his high school years. Before he became a model, he worked with his uncle in Los Angeles as a carpenter installing floors and also as an emergency medical technician. He got his big break in the daytime television world in his recurring role as Mason Wilder on The Young and the Restless.

#2 Lamon Archey’s A Father

Unlike other daytime television stars and celebrities in the entertainment world, Lamon is someone who likes to keep his personal life very personal. In other words, there isn’t much that fans know about his private life and his family. However, we do know that the actor began dating actress Mercedes Cornett back in 2006. The couple has two children together: Caden, born in 2009, and Gaia, born in 2012. He also has a son, Machiah (born in 2002) from a previous relationship.

#3 Lamon Archey’s Got 12 Tattoos

Lamon Archey is one of the most inked daytime television stars out there but unfortunately for fans, they will never get to see his body art on Days of Our Lives. That’s because a lot of his tattoos are quite personal ones for him. He told Soap Opera Digest back in 2017, “Some of them have to get covered because I have my son’s name. I have my dog’s name.

I have my middle son’s birthdate. I’ve got my nickname, Mone, too. Everyone calls me Mone back home. It’s short for Lamon. I have a tribal band around my waist. In my rebel days, I got the earth on fire. It says, ‘Hell on earth,’ on my shoulder. I also have the word ‘nine’ on my shoulder.”

#4 Lamon Archey Keeps Things Professional

While there are plenty of daytime television fans who love to show off their loved ones and family on social media, Lamon doesn’t do that at all. Instead, he keeps the focus on his work and all of the current storylines on Days of Our Lives.

#5 Lamon Archey Believes Eli and Lani Are Perfect For Each Other

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in an interview, Lamon said that he believes his character Eli and Lani Price are daytime television’s perfect couple for one another, even though it hasn’t always been easy for them.

He told the publication, “I think they are. There are a lot of [similar] things that have gone on in their past — Eli not having his dad around, Lani not having her dad around. They lost a child together. They have a lot of things to bond over. There’s so much they’ve been through and can talk to each other about.”
