What Type Of Movie Would Danica McKellar Like To Make With Candace Cameron Bure?

Of these two lovely ladies, Danica McKellar was the first to jump ship from Hallmark to GAC Media. In fact, she signed an exclusive deal with the network. She was soon joined by her friend and fellow Hallmark star, Candace Cameron Bure. Now, their fans are wondering if the two actresses will ever star in a movie together for GAC Family.

Danica McKellar would love to star with Candace Cameron Bure

Hallmark alums Danica McKellar and Candace Cameron Bure have both signed up to work with GAC Family. McKellar recently spoke with Us Weekly and was asked if she would like to star in a movie with Candace Cameron Bure. Both ladies are good friends and Danica quickly said, “I would love to do that.”

In fact, McKellar said that should she star in a movie with her friend, she would want it to be a project that is “uplifting and shows strength in characters.” She explained:

There’s some conflict that comes up and yet the characters have the strength to do the right thing.

Danica and Candace grow closer in friendship

The two actresses have recently grown closer with Danica attending Candace’s church. In fact, she credits her friend with her new faith journey. In an Instagram Live video on April 24, McKellar shared that she was skeptical about Christianity for most of her life. Meanwhile, this was largely due to the hypocrisy that she saw in the faith. However, Danica said she is beginning to see things in a different light since talking with Candace and visiting her church.

In fact, McKellar shared that after visiting Bure’s church, she received a bible from her friend. Due to this, she is now “experiencing a relationship with God and Jesus that I’ve never had before.” She added:

I’m experiencing a relationship with God and Jesus that I’ve never had before, and it feels miraculous.

In the caption to her video, Danica said how she had been struggling with the concept of forgiveness. She asked Candace about a Bible passage, that she shared on Instagram.

McKellar wrote that she was struggling with the concept of forgiveness and asked Bure about a Bible passage that Bure had shared on Instagram. Meanwhile, Bure responded to her post. She wrote:

God’s love is bigger than any human love and when He sweeps you up in understanding how powerful it is, because He is, it’s undeniable. Praying for you on your journey and relationship with Jesus my sweet friend. Ephesians 2:8-9

Danica told Us Weekly, that when GAC launches an app to include special content from stars, she plans to share stories about her faith journey. McKellar said GAC made an announcement “a week or two ago” about an app where they will create their own content. She said it is something like social media, but it is directed more towards the GAC audience. Danica continued:

I’ll be even doing some sharing, some of my faith journey and it’s gonna [sic] be cool. We’re just all figuring it out right now. We just had a meeting a few days ago in terms of figuring out what the content is, but it’s very exciting and nobody else is doing it like this.

McKellar signed her exclusive deal with GAC Media in October 2021 to executive produce and star in original movies for GAC Family and GAC Living. Under the exclusive deal, Danica will only make holiday films and rom-coms for GAC Family during the term of her contract, which lasts through 2023.
