General Hospital News: Michael Easton’s Exciting New Project

He’s not only incredibly handsome and talented, but he’s also got a good heart, too! General Hospital star Michael Easton is teaming up with the Rollman Foundation for a good cause. Michael is best known for his role as Dr. Hamilton Finn on the hit ABC soap.

According to reports, Michael is teaming up with the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation for #GivingTuesday. Along with CharityBuzz Online Auction, the actor and the foundation are hoping to raise enough money for cancer research, prevention, and treatment during their holiday drive. They are hoping to raise at least $18,000 for their cause.

Michael is very passionate about this cause and for a very personal reason, too. He was still a young actor trying to make his mark on Hollywood when his own mother was diagnosed with the disease. She passed away in 1994. Michael’s poetry collection, Eighteen Straight Whiskeys, was written during a very emotional time that Michael spent in Paris after his mother’s death.

In addition, his father was also diagnosed and died from colon cancer a few years later. Michael has made it his mission to be a committed supporter of cancer charities and research in memory of his parents.

In addition to winning a copy of his poetry, the lucky winning bidder will also get to spend some time chatting with the General Hospital star in a 30-minute telephone conversation. “We can chat about poetry, General Hospital, or anything else they want to talk about,” he says.
