A congratulations is in order for Wally Kurth! The handsome actor, who is best known for his roles on General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, and As The World Turns, is celebrating 32 years of work in the daytime television world. Talk about an incredible milestone!
Wally was born in Billings, Montana and studied musical theater at Loretto Heights College in Denver before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
In 1987 he landed the role of Justin Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives. He went on to play Ned Ashton on General Hospital in 1991 before taking on the role of Sam Hutchins on As The World Turns in a recurring role from November 2007 to February 2008.
Off screen, Wally has had quite an interesting and colorful life. He was previously married to The Bold and the Beautiful star Rena Sofer and Deadwood actress Cynthia Ettinger. He has been married to his current wife Debra Yuhasz since 2003.
The couple have one child. He also has two daughters, Rosabel, from his marriage to Rena and Meghann, a daughter from a previous relationship. Speaking about his personal life, Wally once said, “When you’re in love with somebody it’s easy to see what you want to see and ignore what you don’t.”
