General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Crosses Over To The Dark Side As He Helps Sonny Take Dex Down

General Hospital spoilers tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was recently put on the spot when his girlfriend, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), called him out on New Year’s Eve and asked him if he was trying to build a case against his father. When Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) crossed their path that evening at Kelly’s, Dante couldn’t help but remind Dex that he can change his story at any time.

That story — what really happened at Pozzulo’s when Dex got those bruises on his wrists — has never sat well with Dante. Of course, this whole time, he’s been looking at Dex as Sonny’s victim. When he finds out the inverse is true, it’s going to change his perspective, and his agenda.

General Hospital Spoilers — Dante Falconeri Never Wanted To Arrest His Father

Dante and Sonny also had words a few months back. He made it clear to his father that he would never turn his cheek in favor of letting his dad slip by out of charges if he was found to be committing a crime. They both knew the elephant in the room was that Sonny is committing a crime every minute of every day.

His entire enterprise is illegal, and he has managed to hide it well enough that the authorities can never make anything stick. Still, if the day comes that they do, Sonny made it clear to Dante his feelings wouldn’t change toward him if he had to arrest him. In return, Dante made it very clear how he hopes that day never comes.

When Dante stumbles upon information by accident that clues him into what Dex really has going on, he’s going to be stunned. He certainly doesn’t think his dad is always a stand-up guy in every way. There is a lot that Sonny does that Dante disagrees with, but that doesn’t mean he thinks his dad doesn’t deserve a fair shake.

Furthermore, he’s not comfortable with knowing what he knows and withholding it from his father. If Sonny’s life could possibly be at risk, he needs to clue him in.
