General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Thinks Nikolas Is Dead

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will voice his concern when Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) has been missing too long. It has become apparent that he didn’t leave town on his own, unless that broken watch and locked tack cabinet was to throw people off his trail.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Isn’t All That Smart

Nikolas isn’t all that smart when it comes to trying to fake his own death, and it was apparent when he tried the first time. Dante and Detective Bennett (Kendrick Cross) have already checked all forms of overseas travel for a Niall Carradine and plastered Nikolas’ photo everywhere on APBs. Even the WSB has become involved in looking for Nikolas, and there so far has been no trace; they don’t think Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is helping him this time.

Before, General Hospital spoilers show Nikolas and Victor both had the advantage because Victor was playing dead too..but when people don’t want to be found, they do have their ways. The recently deceased Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was an excellent example even though part of his “dead years” he was working for the DVX.

GH Spoilers – Fugitive Hunt To Rescue Mission To Recovery Mission

Every cop, first responder, soldier or searcher hates to tell someone’s loved ones these words: it’s turned from a rescue mission to a recovery mission. In Nikolas’ case it started as a fugitive hunt-but as time goes on with no trace of him, it changes to a rescue mission and now to a recovery mission. That means they are no longer looking for a living person, but for a body-Dante has to tell Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

However, since the only person who saw Nikolas immediately before he disappeared, Ava Jerome (Maura West) assumed he was leaving town, there’s his known demeanor to consider. Laura knows Nikolas was heartbroken, whether he showed it or not, over that last falling out with Spencer; no one wants to consider the “s” word.

Laura knows the longer time goes on with no sightings or contact, eventually they have to consider that Nikolas didn’t survive whatever happened. But if he broke the watch in anger, stomping on it himself, because it was a gift from Ava-why lock it in a tack closet in the stables? She told Dante she will deal with Spencer, and they continue to talk about the odd circumstances of Nikolas’ disappearance.

Dante agrees the watch in the closet was odd, like someone had locked him in the closet and come back for him later-but who, and where, and why? Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) has been ruled out as being involved because the timelines don’t line up, same for Heather Webber (Alley Mills) – it remains a mystery.
