General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Backpedals — And Goes Groveling To Ned Asking To Make Amends

General Hospital spoilers tease Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is in for quite the ride following his run-in with the SEC. After attempting to catch up with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) only to be ambushed by federal agents, it’s clear that Drew’s got some trouble ahead of him.

Drew’s temper never flared as he battled against the SEC, but it still led to a not-so-polite confrontation with his cousin, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). As the dust settles and Drew and Carly put the pieces of this puzzle together, they’ll come to see that Ned just isn’t this sloppy and it makes no sense that he would be behind it, despite his earlier threats. While working to figure out who really tattled on them, Drew will also have to plead with Ned to let him make things right.

Drew didn’t mince words when he told his family a war was about to break out. If Ned wants to go head to head over this and keep lying about his involvement, Drew will do everything in his power to expose him for the coward that he is — or so he thought. A little time to decompress and think more rationally will lend Drew a lot of context he was missing as everyone threw jabs at Ned when he came home and he jumped on the bandwagon without thinking things through. Why would Ned do this — and at a time like this? Well, he wouldn’t, and Drew knows that.

GH Spoilers – Say The Q’s Are Divided

Everyone will have to butter Ned up when they hear Carly and Drew reveal that they don’t believe he was behind any of it. The truth will come out, and those who doubted them will rue the day they didn’t listen. He’s not going to forgive this one that easily, especially when his own wife, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), didn’t believe him when he said he didn’t do it. What kind of marriage is that? Isn’t Olivia supposed to trust Ned now? Everyone might not agree with Drew and Carly’s theory but it won’t make any logical sense that Ned would target Drew when he wasn’t even on American soil.

It seems like Drew has a lot to learn about the art of deduction. With Drew out of the equation, it stands to reason that whoever ratted them out did so with Carly in mind — and an intention to hurt her. Carly certainly has a few enemies lingering about, but none of them knew she was slipping between the sheets with Drew — did they?
