General Hospital Spoilers: Is Roger Howarth Returning To Port Charles As Todd Manning?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) looks to be a goner after being shot in his home and left to bleed out. He was coming from the PCPD where he talked to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about immunity for snitching on his boss, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), without actually giving up the name during the convo.
Looks like he won’t be needing immunity now and even if Austin does manage to survive, his future as a doctor looks dim, and his romance with Ava Jerome (Maura West) is kaput.
Fans are now speculating like mad in one direction: Is Howarth coming back as another character, and if so, who?

Austin told Dante that he would give evidence against Cyrus and his sidekick cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). Upon returning home, he opened the door and asked “What are you doing here?” and next fans heard two gunshots ring out. Later Austin was shown unconscious on the floor, blood pouring out of his chest.
GH spoilers – Will Roger Howarth Return as Todd Manning?
Why do fans think Howarth could come back as another character? In one word: History! Before he was Austin, Howarth portrayed Franco Baldwin. Baldwin died and hence Howarth came back onscreen as Austin, a character who was never fully developed.
Plus, Howarth appeared on GH as his One Life To Live character, Todd Manning.

Further fueling the speculation, Todd’s ex-wife, Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva), recently guest starred on GH.
She played the third wife of Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). Knight played Tad “The Cad” on ABC’s All My Children so it would be terrific daytime viewing to have this group of actors on our screens every day.

Cyrus doesn’t play games, and clearly he had someone tailing Austin and that someone reported back to him that the reluctant doc was at the PCPD.
How would you feel about Howarth coming back for a third stint on GH? Who would you rather see him play, Todd Manning from OLTL, or an entirely new character?

Get rid of Cyrus he’s very ugly to look at get better looking people please!’
Anyone is would be better than the Austin character. Don’t understand why the character was created and then nothing done to support the character’s presence on canvas. Another situation of how writer’s don’t use characters effectively and allow perfectly good actors are not allowed to bring nothing to canvas.
Bring him back as Todd Manning. Loved this character. I miss OLTL. Bring Starr back too. Really shake up the GH group.

Roger Howarth is an excellent actor. All the characters he portrayed He did an excellent. I liked him in one Life To Live and I like hind in General. Let him survive the gunsh
