General Hospital spoilers tease Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has been out of the picture for a few weeks, which is off given that she has a new job and potentially had a new beau for a moment.

We haven’t even seen her step in to offer her condolences or support in the wake of Curtis’ shooting. So it might seem odd to some fans when she steps back in — not to step up for Curtis, but for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Will Jordan be able to ensure Anna’s safety, or might her goal as Acting Mayor be to help her gal pal sniff out a sniper?

After the Metro Court pool shooting, no one was really sure who the presumed target of that attack may have been.

It was clear that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was hit by a ricochet bullet, not directly — meaning he wasn’t the intended target, but who was?

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is valid to be concerned that he could have been who the sniper was really after, given that another one targeted him a few months ago in a Port Charles warehouse.

But Anna also has reason to suspect someone is after her — specifically, someone from the WSB who wants to do her in.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Jordan Ashford Has Every Reason To Step In

Jordan may not be the Police Commissioner right now as Acting Mayor in Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place. Still, she has every reason to worry for the safety of many in Port Charles since the shooting. Moreover, Anna is her best friend.

She doesn’t want to see any more harm come to her than Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has already left her with.

Besides, Curtis was hit and paralyzed by a bullet apparently meant for Anna. Jordan is going to see to it that whoever fired that bullet and maimed the love of her life in the process pays for it.

General Hospital Spoilers — The WSB Comes Tumbling Down?

Jordan may have contacts at the WSB who could help her phish for the identity of the sniper at large. But she, Anna, and Sonny have all likely realized that no good hit man leaves their gun behind to be traced back to them.

Rather, it seems like this person wants to play cat and mouse. With Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) getting caught up in the mess as well, he may not want Jordan involved and potentially blowing his cover with the PCPD.
