General Hospital actor, Josh Swickard is starring in a new film called Roped. The new film which was written by John Ducey and directed by Shaun Paul Piccinino was released on Netflix on May 2, 2020.

The synopsis for the film states, “A progressive town erupts when a traveling rodeo lands within a it’s city limits. The town councilman butts head with a young cowboy on his rise to super stardom. When the councilman’s daughter falls in love with the cowboy their battle becomes deeply personal.”

General Hospital Comings and Goings – Stars Appear In The Film

This film was added to Swickard’s IMDB profile for quite some time but was just released this weekend and is now available for viewing. Swickard also made sure to alert his social media follows of the release of the film just before it was actually released on May 2. He shared the cover picture for the film and noted of the release date and the platform.

In the film, Swickard stars in the role of Colton Burtenshaw. His real-life wife, Lorynn York Swickard also stars in the film playing the role of Tracy Peterson. A number of former soap stars are also attached to the film which includes Casper Van Dien, John Schneider, Michael Roark, and Spencer Neville. Other cast members include Christina Moore, Shane Graham, Cooper Lundeen, Javacia Leslie, Matthew Lipisko, William W. Barbour, Vivian McCall, Sean Michael McGrory, and more.
