General Hospital Spoilers: Molly And TJ Become Instant Parents As They Take In Sam’s Kids After Her Death

General Hospital spoilers reveal Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is concerned that her domestic partner, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), may never bounce back from the death of their baby girl, Irene Marie Davis Ashford.

She may very well be right, but rumor has it they’re both about to get quite the boost in the empty nest department when Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) dies this coming fall. News broke this month that Monaco was being let go from the sudser after 21 years of commitment to making it her second home.

While fans are still fighting it, it’s safe to say the storyline is somewhat written in stone now — even though we don’t know exactly what that is. Nevertheless, with two somewhat-absent dads in the picture, Sam’s kids are going to need stability and love in the wake of their mom’s death. Is that where TJ and Molly come in?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Tale Of Two Dads

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is awfully busy these days working for Corinthos Coffee and also the mob. Also, he knows how important it was to Sam for him to keep his distance from Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

He may not want to disrespect her memory by taking full custody of Danny and potentially putting him in harm’s way.

Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), on the other hand, is far from a physical danger to Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) but is busier than ever campaigning — and about to move to Washington, D.C.

That’s no place to raise his daughter and he wouldn’t want to pull her out of the school she loves and away from family. So perhaps staying with them while he’s away is best.

GH Spoilers Claim Alexis Davis And Kristina Corinthos Davis Are Wrapped Up In Legal Drama

It might seem practical that Sam’s death would leave Danny and Scout on Alexis’ doorstep, but she may not be fit to take over as their mother at the moment. In fact, Sam may even have a will in place that leaves her children in Molly’s care for all we know.

Regardless, Alexis will be tied up with protecting Kristina and herself from persecution — and at odds with Molly. Neither of them are going to be suitable for taking on this role after Sam dies.

General Hospital Spoilers — TJ Ashford And Molly Lansing-Davis Can Provide a Loving Home With Two Parents

One might default to thinking that Danny and Scout would take up residence at the Q mansion — and we imagine that conversation will probably happen. But the Quartermaine residence is more like a wealthy orphanage in that respect than a real home.

They wouldn’t have two hands-on parents in place there, but rather an amalgam of family with no clear boundaries about who is raising them. That’s probably not going to work, even though Drew and Jason might agree to it.

Rather, TJ and Molly may spontaneously become parents to not one — but two — kids. How might this change things with their relationships with Kristina and Alexis, and with each other?

Should the two take in Scout/Danny, hope writers move them out of their apartment.

I’ve been watching GH faithfully from the beginning when I was a kid and getting rid of Sam is the stupidest thing they’ve ever done, especially now that Jason is back! This is the first time I’ve ever been this totally disappointed in GH in all these years!

  3. Ginny says

What a horrible suggestion! Neither Molly or TJ are fit to parent, let alone parent two grieving teenagers. If this is why they are getting rid of Sam they deserve a mass exodus of viewers.

The writers really better get their act together – I didn’t think it could get any worse than the Nixon Falls related escapades, but this show is really badly written since Jason’s return

Who decided Molly and TJ would tahe Sam’s kids in after her desth? Have they ever interacted with Sam??? You barly see them with Sam let alone “Aunt Molly and Uncle TJ!!! Let Molly get pregnant and be done with this story.

  5. Larry Aldridge says

This is a prime example of why the writers at GH need fired! That storyline makes no sense! Sam dies so Molly and T.J. can be parents?! This shoe is gonna be canceled! I’m about to switch networks the fans have spoken ! We want Sam Alive!

  6. Ms. B says

Why give Sam kids to Molly and TJ when both kids fathers are still alive? I don’t think Drew would let Molly and TJ raise Scout. I see him taking her to the Q’s to live and most likely Jason will take Danny to the Q’s as well. Molly and TJ are pathetic and not fit to raise a gold fish while they are attacking and putting down Kristina when they aren’t any better than her. They are self righteous sanctimonious snobs who think they are better than everyone.

  7. Jmjm says

Seriously getting rid of Sam so stupid gh writers need to be fired not Sam and definitely do not do a Jason and Anna romance which I read they may be fixing to do that’s just much .why not keep Sam and do a Jason and Sam romance. And why give the kids to Molly and tj they have dads this show is going in a completely wrong direction I’m so over it #istandwithkelly#sam

  8. Keri says

Washington, D. C. isn’t a fit place to raise children but Port Charles is? Do a quick mental run down of all the things that have happened to the younger citizens of Port Charles and tell me Scout would be safer there than in D.C.

  9. A says

Tj n Molly don’t deserve shut. Molly is a witch n Tj is an azzhole. Never gave Kristina the benefit of the doubt. Now when the truth comes out about Ava then what? AZZHOLES!!!!

  10. Dawn says

TJ & Molly? That’s a HUGE NO!! Keep Sam and get rid of those two. In all my years of watching GH I have never disliked two characters as those two. The epitome of whiny entitled millennials.
