General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Is At Risk — And Sonny May Not Be Able To Save Her

General Hospital spoilers suggest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could be fighting for her life soon, and it’ll be anyone’s guess as to whether it’s because of her ties to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), or whether she’s made her own enemies. Nina hasn’t exactly been an angel over the last year, but it would be drastically out of character for someone like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to react in a way that would leave Nina’s life hanging in the balance.

Word on the street is someone will though. As Sonny rushes to her side at GH with regret filling his mind, he may be heartbroken that he never got to marry Nina while at the same time believing it won’t be safe for him to.

Sonny has been rather preoccupied lately trying to keep himself out of prison while ensuring his family is safe from harm.

Two strikes against his life in one year, compounded with a recent attempt to lock him up for life has left the don wondering who he can trust.

When tragedy befalls him and this time Nina is the target instead of one of his baby mamas, he may come to regret not having prioritized her safety as much as he has the rest of his family.

GH Spoilers  – Indicate Carly Spencer Adds Fuel To The Fire

It’ll be a delicate time for Carly to approach Sonny with sympathy. She’s furious with him for letting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) get attacked in prison.

She’s tired of Sonny’s lifestyle bleeding over into hers — and now into Drew’s, too. Moreover, she won’t feign concern for Nina terribly well. But Carly may lend Sonny some insight that gets his wheels turning.

If he can’t even keep his children, their multiple mothers, and himself safe — why is he taking on the extra job of protecting Nina when sharing his life with anyone only leaves them in the very dire straits that Carly and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are currently battling?

In reality, it’s possible that Nina’s enemy is more of a frenemy — and one who is off limits to Sonny. Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) loves Nina, but it does seem as though this young lady is trying to manipulate the lives of others to get stepmommy Nina back into her orbit.

Will an attack on Nina make Sonny reconsider his relationship with her the same way that her attack on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could ultimately do Vanna in?

Will this spell a reunion for Nina and Valentin like Charlotte may be hoping? Will Sonny put the pieces of this puzzle together with Anna before they both see the undoing of their relationships at the hands of an enemy like no other they’ve ever had — a teenager?
