General Hospital spoilers suggest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) doesn’t have much time left living in ignorance of the lies she’s told and the misdeeds she’s carried out.
She sent the SEC after Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and ever since then, she has been living in perpetual fear that the truth will come out and cost her everything.
Little does she know, the time she was buying by being quiet about her covert escapades was all she ever needed to pull this off and hang onto the one person who matters the most to her — Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
While Nina is expecting that Willow won’t want anything to do with her ever again when she learns what kind of person her mother really is, nothing could be farther from the truth.
It seems that time well spent together has healed some wounds sustained early in their relationship, and Willow meant it when she said she was ready to turn over a new leaf. She’s not going to give up easily now.
General Hospital Spoilers — Willow Tait And Michael Corinthos Stand On Shaky Ground
Of course, it won’t be as simple as Willow turning against the family who has loved her and been there for her far longer than Nina has been.
We imagine there will be a bit of foundation laid that makes Willow salty toward Michael in the weeks ahead of her finding out what Nina has done.
For starters, Willow made Michael promise her he would end his vendetta against his dad before she went in for a bone marrow transplant.
He did, but he failed to tell her that plans changed and he’s still working with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) behind his dad’s back — albeit on more altruistic terms.
When Willow learns that her hubby has lied to her once again, she may not be so forgiving. That will make it a lot easier to lean on her mother even more.
GH Spoilers – Say Carly Spencer Won’t Carry Much Clout
Willow might also have a bad taste in her mouth when it comes to her mother-in-law soon, too. After all, Michael was ready to follow Willow’s request and cut Dex off entirely.
He was going to move on with forgiveness in mind and try to mend fences with his dad. Doing so to his face while covertly trying to manage him and his business behind his back certainly isn’t what Willow had in mind — and Michael knows it.
But Carly gets what Carly wants, generally, and Willow may feel a certain way about her roping her son into such dangerous activities that could further threaten his relationship with his dad.
General Hospital Spoilers — Willow Tait Won’t Turn Her Back On Nina Reeves
We can’t blame Willow for wanting to hold onto her birth mom at all costs. She never expected to have this kind of relationship again and she had already lost the only other mother she ever knew — who also wasn’t perfect.
Willow has come to realize that Nina deserved the same grace and second (and third and fourth) chances. Being so close to death had a strong impact on Willow and it’s likely she will be willing to forgive Nina if she’s transparent with her about what she did and tries to make it right.
However, choosing Nina over Michael could kill her marriage in the process. Whose side do you see Willow being on? Share your thoughts with us below and stay tuned for more GH news and updates right here, every day.
