General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha Continues To Ignore Gladys’ Lies, Can Carly Get Through To Her?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is about to bite off more than she can chew when she confronts Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) about her ties to Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Is Carly sticking her nose in where it doesn’t belong? Ever since her last encounter with Sasha at GH, Carly was bothered by Gladys’ interference in Sasha’s affairs, as well as her delight in benefitting from Sasha’s bankrolling.

But there was no evidence to go off of, and no reason for Carly to string together any kind of suspicion about Gladys suggesting she was up to anything more than being a tactless beneficiary of Sasha’s kindness. When Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) clues Carly in on what has happened with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), Carly just might start to piece things together — but will Sasha listen?

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer Is Concerned

Carly doesn’t want to see Sasha spiral out of control again or head down the wrong path. While it seems like therapy has worked wonders and Sasha is on her way back up the ladder of success and personal health, a setback like finding out her mother-in-law has been abusing her role as legal guardian could do some serious damage.

GH Spoilers – Say She Isn’t The Only One

Of course, Carly isn’t the only person barking up Sasha’s tree with concern lately. Cody is extremely worried that Gladys is going to swindle Sasha’s entire fortune out from under her, but Sasha wasn’t pleased with his implications that Gladys was anything more than generous having stepped up to be her legal guardian.

Maybe at the time that she did so, she didn’t realize how tempting it would be for her to dip into that money pile on her own, too. But times have changed and Gladys is quickly blowing through Sasha’s hard-earned money while she remains completely oblivious to it. Cody would think Carly is right to be concerned, and we all know Carly doesn’t trust Gladys and wouldn’t put it past her to do any of the things Cody is claiming she’s done.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha Gilmore Corbin Won’t Hear It

We already saw how it went down when Cody tried to be honest with Sasha. Shew! That probably didn’t do him any favors as he continues to grapple with whether or not being an honest person is worthwhile. Now, Sasha isn’t in his life anymore, despite how committed he remains to clearing his name with her — alongside those charges accusing him of being a jewel thief.

Carly has a sense for these things and when she hears Cody’s side of the story, she’s going to be inclined to believe him — not Gladys’ take. But that doesn’t mean she’ll convince Sasha of the same. On some level, Sasha’s psyche is probably protecting her from the truth about the only family member she has left — Gladys — because she just can’t handle it yet.
