General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Has Been Spiraling Downwards Since Her Fake Affair And Breakup With Michael Corinthos

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sasha has been spiraling downwards since her fake affair with Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and subsequent breakup with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). One day someone working in the Deception wardrobe room gave her a little “help” in the form of a packet of a crystalline substance, probably cocaine. Sasha only meant to do it that one time – just to get her through a photoshoot.

But since then, she has become addicted to the substance, and as with most addictive substances, she has likely had to take more and more and more to achieve the effect she needs! More and more soon builds up to a dangerous level of drugs in one’s system – only the damage is done much quicker than with alcohol, and it becomes very easy to overdose.

One’s body builds up somewhat of tolerance, but once it has built up enough tolerance the person doesn’t feel the “high” anymore and that is usually when an overdose happens; and sometimes the overdose can be deadly if someone doesn’t get help in time! That is what happened with Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) DEA associates Bob Massicotte (Randy J. Goodwin) and Mark Simon (uncredited actor) and also what happened to Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan).

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Has Sasha Gilmore Under His Thumb

Sasha also has another problem – Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)! Viewers will recall that she came into the Metro Court disheveled and rather out of it, and several people could tell she was having some serious problems. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) noticed, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) noticed, and she was also observed at a table with Renault! Nina tried to help her by getting her a room but she didn’t want it, and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) tried to help also, later telling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that she is pretty sure Sasha was on drugs! It looks like Cyrus will want Sasha to do something for him, as in the preview for Thursday, November 12 she is at a table asking someone what they want from her in return!

This will happen before she gets in over her head on Friday, November 13, and this conversation may also be a factor. The request that he makes may be more than what she wants to give, but she may be forced into doing something she wants no part of! Either way, Cyrus has Sasha under his thumb; indirectly, possibly through a continuous supply of drugs, directly, possibly to be his go-between as Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) once was. Either way, Sasha is in a world of danger, either from Cyrus himself or of overdosing on the drugs she has become addicted to!
