Watching Sonny spiral into a life of chaos and revenge driven by anger toward his own child is going to make Nina’s head spin right alongside him. As the Crimson editor is left wondering what happened to Mike-turned Sonny-turned maniacal mobster, Carly will certainly be there to remind her this is who he was all along. Will Nina cut her losses — or is it going to burn her up inside to give Carly that kind of satisfaction? Nina may have to lie to herself a bit longer to stomach hanging on to a relationship with such a brooding and vengeful man. That means she’ll have to shift the blame back to Michael and may just credit him for turning her lover into someone she doesn’t recognize.
