General Hospital spoilers reveal many fans are wondering what Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) has been doing during the lengthy process of settling Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) estate.

With no real storyline and few connections to Port Charles outside of his controversial aunt ,Selina Wu (Lydia Look), it remains to be seen where Brad will focus his attention next. Britt was his sister from another mister, and her absence has left a void in his everyday life that may be hard to fill without resorting to poor choices. Against such a solemn backdrop, questions still linger about what the future holds for Brad, absent Britt.

Britt and Brad’s bond was unbreakable. Even in the darkest of times, they relied on each other as the only constant in one another’s lives. Brad has lost everything and now has to face life alone. Losing his husband and baby was a hurdle he managed to overcome. Prison time did him no favors, but losing Britt takes the cake. She was the beacon of hope that lit him up whenever he was down in the dumps.

Now, with her gone, Brad is completely stranded. Brad has come a long way in his journey towards maturity, and Selina might like to think she had a hand in that. Despite not being fond of his business ventures with her, Britt was willing to support him as long as he was content. However, the question still remains: is he really happy?

Brad is left with a void that no lump sum can fill. Losing his best friend, Britt, was a devastating blow that no junk food binge or martini bar, nor material wealth could ever help him recover from. The gift may provide a fresh start, a newfound freedom perhaps from troublesome financial obligations, but it will never fill the emptiness that Britt’s death has left in his life. Will he honor her life — in death — or will he put her money to use in more unsavory ways, possibly influenced by his mobster auntie?
