Popular Hallmark Channel alums and Great American Media stars Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega recently went on Instagram to share some tragic news.

Previously, the popular actors and authors had shared that they were expecting their fourth baby in November 2023. However, tragically, Alexa and Carlos have bad news to share about the loss of that fourth child.

A decade ago, former Hallmark stars and Spy Kids actors, Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega fell in love and were quickly wed. Since that time, the new Great American Media couple has created a beautiful family.

The PenaVega’s have three children, Kingston, Rio, and Ocean, and were so excited about the second daughter who was to join them. Alexa shared images of her bump on Instagram regularly, clearly thrilled about the new, upcoming arrival.

Fast forward to now, and Alexa and Carlos both shared bad news on their respective Instagram pages that they had lost their fourth baby, Indy Rex PenaVega. In their post, they explained that Indy did make it into the world, but sadly could not stay.

According to the couple, the delivery was both “beautiful” and “peaceful” when Indy was born at “rest.” In their post, they shared that Indy looked like her father, dark hair and all. Moreover, they wrote that they can’t understand why things like this happen and that they may never get those answers.

Meanwhile, the wrote that Indy completely changed their world and moved them into a new place, adding that she gave them the community they had been longing for. Moreover, the PenaVegas wrote:

We love you can’t wait to see how many other lives you change.

Alexa and Carlos recently surprised their fans when they signed a contract with Great American Media, Hallmark’s biggest competitor. As previously reported here, the couple is making a new, original movie for Great American Pure Flix, titled Mr. Manhattan. Meanwhile, the movie is set to premiere on May 24.

A brief synopsis for Mr. Manhattan reads as follows:
