The Hallmark Channel continues to celebrate this holiday season with an all-new original movie combining Hanukkah and Christmas. Brittany Bristow and General Hospital alum Matt Cohen (Dr. Griffin Munro) star in Holiday Date premiering on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. CT.
It’s supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, but Brooke (Brittany Bristow) isn’t in the holiday spirit. The fashion designer is struggling professionally, was dumped by her boyfriend, and dreading a visit home to celebrate Christmas.

Rather than go it alone and face the questions she knows her family will have, Brooke connects with an actor named Joel (Matt Cohen), enlisting him to play the part of her boyfriend, whom she has described as “Mr. Christmas” to her family.
Joel is Jewish and has never celebrated Christmas, Brooke worries about carrying out the charade. Her parents Donna (Teryl Rothery) and Walter (Bruce Boxleitner) welcome the couple and are eager to celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas. Brooke and Joel grow closer over sharing their traditions.
When a rumor about the couple’s engagement brings her ex-boyfriend face-to-face with her fake boyfriend, Brooke’s family grows suspicious. Faced with the embarrassing prospect of revealing their lie to those around them, Brooke and Joel must decide whether to keep up the relationship charade or admit their lie and their true feelings for each other.
