Hallmark Media’s Head of Programming, Michelle Vicary, chimed in on Hope Valley: 1874’s success by applauding the behind-the-scenes team.
She added that the series is comprised of a “dream cast” and goes on to say how the storylines have resonated with fans, thanks to showrunner Alfonso Moreno.
Hope Valley: 1874 precedes stories from WCTH, taking Hearties back to the start of the settlement and the early days in the little town.
It focuses on Rebecca Clarke’s (Bethany Joy Lenz) journey: a woman who has lost her husband and decides on a fresh new chapter by moving her and her daughter to Western Canada.
Fans have been on the edge of their seats watching Rebecca navigate this new world, along with a budding romance that’s blossoming between her and Tom Moore (Benjamin Ayres).
