What Hallmark Channel Shows Were Canceled?

Hallmark Channel spoilers reveal that there are a few shows that are going to be canceled on the network. Will one of these be your favorite? The announcement is from the Hallmark mysteries channel and it looks like two of the shows have been officially canceled. Which shows are they?

It always gets us bummed out when our favorite shows get canceled. When all of the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies were airing, there were some rumors about some shows being canceled,but no one really mentioned it. Hallmark Channel star Kellie Martin made the announcement of one of the cancellations. She posted on Twitter that the Hailey Dean Mysteries had been canceled. She wrote, “I just found out that Hailey Dean is done at Hallmark. Really sad and sorry to report.”

There were nine episodes filmed for the show and it began in 2016. There were some hints that it would not be back and there were also hints that more mysteries are coming. In November, Hallmark star, Alexa PenaVega did a question and answer session for fans and told her fans that there were no more mystery series that she knew of. She added, “The mysteries have to come to an end. But, it was so much fun. Such a good run! And we’re really proud of what we made.”

More Hallmark Cancellations

One of the other shows that looks like it was cancelled is The Gourmet Detective. There have been multiple movies of this series and the last movie, which came out two years ago, Roux the Day, was a pretty big success. Dylan Neal moved to Portugal and made the announcement to his fans, but he never hinted that the series was over. He said he was working on other detective series with an author, but there would be no more of the Gourmet Detective.

We do know that there will be plenty of more films coming to Hallmark Channel, but it looks like the mystery series may be phased out. We were really looking forward to new ones, but only time will tell what is next for the network.
