When Calls The Heart star Erin Krakow teases the upcoming season in a new interview. But the Hallmark fan fave also shares her own plans for a cozy Christmas.

Erin Krakow Plans A Merry Little Christmas

When Calls The Heart star Erin Krakow loves the holidays. And so the 39-year-old Hallmark fan fave decided to celebrate this year by teaming up with wine house Maison Louis Jadot to create a guide of curated book and wine pairings.

Erin told People that her guide feels “ just perfect for cuddling up or sharing with your book clubs during the holiday season.”

And Krakow revealed that she loves to read. “And I also love wine,” admitted the When Calls The Heart star. As a result, it “felt like the perfect pairing and partnership for me.”

And the book features Erin’s favorite books paired with various wines. For instance, the actress recommends reading Nicholas Sparks’ novel The Notebook while sipping Pouilly-Fuissé. And she suggests enjoying Me Before You by Jojo Moyes with a glass of Chardonnay Bourgogne

And the When Calls The Heart star shared her own favorite books. For instance, Erin loves Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women. And she recalled reading it as a child. But the actress also likes Where the Crawdads Sing.

However, Krakow shared that she thinks her When Calls the Heart character Elizabeth might enjoy Alcott’s novel. “Because that feels most classic and probably closest to the 1920s, when our story takes place,” she pointed out. 

But Krakow sees her character Elizabeth as “a real sucker for romance. So, probably a book with a very strong love story,” she added. And the actress also plans to enjoy her favorite books this holiday season.

“I think we’re going to spend some time baking in the kitchen,” Erin shared. “We’re probably going to be doing puzzles and maybe putting together a Lego set or two, playing with the kids. But we’re all big readers. I’m looking forward to some cozy nights around [the] fireplace. Everybody snuggled up with their own book and sharing stories and sharing wine.”

Hallmark Plans When Calls The Heart Season 11 For 2024

And Erin also reflected on her Hallmark show. Because season 10 of When Calls the Heart featured a cliffhanger finale for Krakow’s Elizabeth and Lucas (Chris McNally), the actress feels “really excited about” the new season.

“We don’t have our premiere date yet,” added Erin. “But that will be sometime in 2024, season 11.” And she called it a “great, great season. But I have to say, it was a lot of hard work.”

And Erin also plans a trip to New York City. “I love New York,” she gushed. “I spent a long time there. And it’s really where I grew into being an actor myself. It’s a favorite place of mine, so I’m really excited to get back.”
