When Calls The Heart spoilers and updates tease that Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) may have more than one love interest. At least that’s what its portrayer, Kevin McGarry, has hinted.

When Calls The Heart Season 9 is set to air on Sunday, March 6. Last season, fans saw the love triangle between Elizabeth Thornton, Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally), and Nathan comes to an end.

In the upcoming season, viewers will see how Nathan will react to Elizabeth’s decision. Not only that, fans will get to see what the Mountie will do to cope with the heartbreak and move on.

In a recent Hallmark Happenings podcast, McGarry talked about his character and his love life. How will his alter ego recover from the heartbreak? Will he have another chance at love?

McGarry revealed that it was “tough to have that kind of ending.” However, it helped create “good storytelling.” Thanks to the struggles that Nathan has gone through, fans had a chance to see what his character was really like.

The actor hinted that there are a lot of possible bachelorettes who can be paired with Nathan. However, his character will still be hurting, and his character’s feelings won’t just go away given that Elizabeth is just in town.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Who Is Mei Sou?

Spoilers have hinted that a newcomer to Hope Valley named Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) may be a potential love interest for Nathan. When Calls The Heart posters feature Nathan with Mei and Elizabeth and Lucas.

“Usually you don’t get a character that comes to town that doesn’t have some kind of secret or backstory. So, she’s no exception. She’s got something that’s the reason why she’s in town…” McGarry hinted.

“…maybe something she’s running from might get her close to law enforcement in the town,” he continued.

Will Mei Sou reveal to Nathan the reason why she’s in Hope Valley? Is she running from something or someone? Will they ever get closer together?

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Faith Carter Is Also A Possible Match

McGarry also hinted that Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) could also be a possible match for his alter ego. They’re both the latest eligible bachelorette and bachelor in town so it’s possible that they may be paid with each other. Not only that, they share a similar professional life since they’re both first responders.

Nothing has been confirmed as to who Nathan will be paired with so fans just have to stay tuned to find out who he ends up with.
