Neighbours Elly Conway Guilt Ridden, As She Confesses Her Baby Secret to Shaun Watkins

Neighbours fans will be shocked next week as they watch Elly (Jodi Anasta) come clean to the father of her unborn baby, Shaun (Brad Moller).

After a reckless night, Elly wakes up in bed next to Shaun. Not knowing at this point that he is Finn’s brother, the only guilt she has to deal with is cheating on her husband.

Soon Elly realises that she is pregnant – for real this time! And to make matters worse, she doesn’t tell Mark about what she’s done but decides to pass the new baby off as his.

It’s not until next week that she realises that this plan could really backfire. It turns out the mystery man wasn’t just a passer through town she would never see again – it’s Finn’s brother.

It’s not until she is in court, reading on the dock to give a victim impact statement, that she spots Shaun sitting next to Finn. She immediately puts two and two together and runs out of the courtroom in shock.

This brings about another lie when Mark asks her why she rushed out so suddenly. Thinking on her feet, Elly claims she was overwhelmed by being in such close proximity to Finn.

As soon as she gets a chance, she speaks to Shaun and begs them not to tell anyone about spending the night together, she definitely doesn’t want Mark to find out. Shaun doesn’t want to cause trouble so initially agrees, but when he hears about her pregnancy dates he soon realizes what has happened.

Being forced to give an answer, Elly tells Shaun that he is the father of her unborn baby but asks him to keep it a secret in order to not ruin her life. She asks him instead to walk away and totally forget about their baby.

But will he agree?
