Neighbours Spoilers: Baby Bombshell On Ramsay Street

Erinsborough resident Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) discovers that she’s pregnant next week, but it’s not totally happy news as her future with Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) is unclear.

Viewers will have seen Mark struggling to cope with the diagnosis and death of his best Sonya (Eve Morey). While struggling, he pushed Elly away, then eventually called left Erinsborough and called off the wedding, leading a heartbroken Elly to climb into bed with Chloe (April Rose Pengilly).

But once his brother Aaron (Matt Wilson) found him, he convinced him to return to Erinsborough and go ahead with the wedding. What a mess!

Neighbours Spoilers – From Dream Wedding To Wedding From Hell

In unmissable episodes that air this week, the wedding of dreams breaks into the wedding from hell when Mark – the groom – finds out that Elly – the bride – slept with his sister just days before.

The repercussions continue next week as Elly struggles with the fact that Mark no longer wants anything to do with her after such betrayal. In fact, he’s so angry that he asks for an annulment, not being able to see a future with her after what she did.

After feeling unwell, Elly secretly takes a pregnancy test and finds out that she is pregnant. The news leaves her conflicted; she doesn’t want to appear to be using the baby as bait for Mark to be with her, but also knows that she has to tell him the truth.

Neighbours Spoilers – Mark Turns To His Mother For Guidance

She does eventually tell Mark, who appears to be just as conflicted. He finds guidance in his mother Fay (Zoe Bertram), admitting that having a child with a woman he loves is all he ever wanted, but he doesn’t know whether he can trust Elly.

When Elly finds Mark taking comfort from a letter that his late fiancée Kate Ramsay (Ashleigh Brewer) wrote him she becomes frustrated, feeling that she could never compete with the memory of her. This makes her confront Mark, telling him that she isn’t the only one to blame for their problems.

Knowing that his fixation with Kate’s memory pushed Elly away, he offers to burn the letter as a symbol of moving forward. Elly stops him, believing it unnecessary, but can an honest conversation help them fix their marriage?
