Neighbours Spoilers: Horror In The Outback – Will We Lose A Beloved Character?

Neighbours’ favourite couple find themselves in danger next week after a school camping trip goes terribly wrong.

Neighbours spoilers have teased a heart-breaking storyline that puts both Susan and Karl Kennedy in danger next week – it seems the couple just can’t catch a break!

The storyline begins when students, teachers and parents from Erinsborough high school venture into the Australian outback as part of the school’s leadership campout.

Mean girl Poppy Ryan is finally caught in the act, bullying Kirsha Rebecchi (Vani Dhir). For this reason, Susan (Jackie Woodburne) has no other choice than to send Poppy home right away, starting the trip on a low point.

Even though everyone is supportive of Kirsha, she is left upset and downcast by Poppy’s bullying and refuses to carry on the hike. Although Poppy is gone, headteacher Susan stays behind the main group to try and provide comfort for Kirsha.

When they eventually start moving they realise that they are totally lost, and to make matters worse, darkness is closing in. Thankfully the rest of the group realise that Kirsha and Susan are missing, and launch a frantic search party to find them. But when night time finally comes they are nowhere to be seen.

Word eventually gets back to Ramsay Street and a worried Karl (Alan Fletcher) heads straight to the bush to try and find his wife and Kirsha. This is not a good idea – he has had his own health problems lately and has been struggling daily.

Alone in the bush, Karl is overcome by breathlessness. He suddenly takes a nasty fall and is stranded alone in the bush at night.

Thankfully Xanthe comes across Karl eventually – but will her hospital work experience be enough to save him?
