Neighbours spoilers reveal return for Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) as his brother David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) is fighting for his life in hospital.
Spoilers confirm that Leo, played by Tim Kano, will be returning to the soap for a guest stint after leaving for New York City just two months ago.
Last week, viewers watched as David was the victim of a hit and run accident which left him in a critical condition. After already having one kidney removed to save his life, David’s family and friends are devastated to hear that his remaining kidney is failing, meaning he must have a kidney transplant as soon as possible.
When Leo hears the news he rushes back to Erinsborough, eager to help his brother. His family is excited to see him, though Paul is still uneasy about the way he left so suddenly. Particularly excited to see him is his sister Amy Williams, (Nicolette Minster) who is desperate to hear how her son Jimmy is doing in New York. Leo tells Amy that Jimmy is doing just fine, though it seems obvious that he’s not telling her the full truth.

Later in the week, Leo is devastated to find out that he’s not able to donate to his brother. As none of their other family or friends are a match either, everyone starts to worry about what they’re going to do. Whilst everyone is trying to come up with new ideas, Leo is distracted by several calls from Jimmy’s father Liam Barnett. For some unknown reason, Liam is pressuring Leo into making sure that Amy avoids all contact with Jimmy. While Kyle tries to play happy families and suggests that Leo brings Jimmy back for a visit, Leo is forced to be honest and tell Kyle what’s really going on…
Is Jimmy in trouble?
