When it was announced that Finn Kelly would be staying on Ramsay Street long term – after actor Rob Mills signed a permanent contract – fans were confident he would escape jail. Well, it looks like they might be right, as teasers just revealed a twist that could keep Finn in Erinsborough and out of jail.
Finn is currently facing various serious prison charges after all of his evil plans from the last few years came back to bite him, even though his amnesia has caused him not to remember any of them.
In next week’s episodes, viewers will see Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) stunned as she overhears the shocking news that crucial evidence against Finn has been ruined.
Neighbours Spoilers – News Of The Fire Angers Erinsborough Residents
There has been a fire in the police building when the evidence against him was being held, meaning that there’s a high chance that he will get off all charges.
Whereas the news of the fire angers most residents of Erinsborough, Finn’s half-brother Shaun Kelly (Brad Moller) sees it as an opportunity. He advises his brother that he could now plead not-guilty in court, as a lot of the evidence which could have been presented against him is gone.
When news of this gets back to Ned Willis (Ben Hall) he is angered, accusing Shaun of setting the fire himself in an attempt to help his brother get away with everything. Imogen Willis (Ariel Kaplan) also has her opinion.
