After Ned (Ben Hall) dumped Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) under the advice of Scarlett Brady, a psychopathic stalker who manipulated him, things between he and Yashvi became very complicated. However, after spending some time together, it was clear they were still very much in love, leading to a passionate reunion on New Year’s Eve.

When Yashvi returns from spending time with her family in Sydney, she focuses all of her attention on passing her upcoming police entrance exam. For a while she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with her life, but after helping in a missing persons case, she decided that she wanted to go into the police force. Following advice from her Aunt Mishti, who is on the force, Yashvi tells Ned that she will be obeying the old police superstition of staying celibate until the entrance exam is over.

At first, Neighbours spoilers tease Ned doesn’t take Yashvi’s decision too seriously, and cheekily tries to tempt her into breaking her vow of celibacy. She doesn’t take this lightly and accuses Ned of not supporting her goals and her decisions. Ned is shocked – he was only playing about – but later apologises to Yashvi and all is good between them.

As they get back to normal with each other, Ned agrees to help Yashvi study, but they’re not alone. Who is the dodgy looking guy watching them – and what does he want?
