Alaskan Bush People Star Bear Brown Thanks Father Billy As He Celebrates Birthday

Alaskan Bush People Star Bear Brown Thanks Father Billy As He Celebrates BirthdayBilly Brown, the father of the Brown family of reality docu-series “Alaskan Bush People” on Discovery Channel, celebrated his 66th birthday on December 3.

One of his seven children, Bear Brown, posted on Instagram a photo of his father, whom he called “The living legend”, along with a heartwarming message.

“Today is my Dads 66th birthday!!” Bear started and thank his dad Billy for teaching him good lessons and for always being there for him.

“If not for him I would not be the same person that I am today!” he wrote. “He has taught me to always stand up for what I believe in! To never lie, cheat, or steal! To always put others above myself! To never give up! And to always try my hardest! My dad is one of the only people that has always believed in me! And has always been there for me! I’m blessed to still have him with me!” Bear wrote.

“I’m blessed to still have him with me!” he added. “Happy birthday Da! The living legend!” Fans of “Alaskan Bush People” also left some comments on Bear’s post to wish Billy Brown good things on his big day.

One fan wrote, “Happy birthday to your dad! For me, he is an example of how to build relationships with people around you, especially with your family. It was nice to see how he takes the time for a personal conversation with each of you.”

Bear has been sharing on social media how grateful he is for still having his family intact, which is quite understandable given how much they went through, especially over the past year. His father recently had a health scare for having an upper respiratory issue. His brother, Matt, went into rehab a couple of weeks ago to be treated for his alcohol addiction, only to get out after 30 days and not completing the 90-day treatment. The hardest was when their mom Ami was diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer, but thankfully, she is now in remission.

Meanwhile, fans are waiting for an “Alaskan Bush People” Christmas special, although there were mixed reports on whether there would be one this year.
