TLC has ended filming for season four of 1000-Lb Sisters. But fans keep waiting to see if Tammy Slaton, 37, and Amy Slaton, 35, will star in a fifth season.

And an insider via the Sun shared, “They just wrapped up filming season four.”

The first part of season four finished with Tammy’s wedding to Caleb Willingham. And after achieving her goal weight, Tammy left rehab. She then headed to a new house in Kentucky. 

Meanwhile, Amy has gone through marriage problems. Her husband Michael Halterman, 40, filed for divorce. However, Amy filed domestic violence claims against her ex. The two also fought over the custody of their two children Gage, two, and Glenn, one.

However, Tammy struggled in her marriage with Caleb. And the 1000-Lb Sisters star reportedly considered filing for divorce.

But tragedy occurred, when Caleb died. And TLC filmed his funeral for the second part of season four.

But insiders shared that season four might mark the final one for 1000-Lb Sisters. And Tammy reportedly wants to change careers.

She has begun looking for modeling jobs amid boosting her fame.

“Well, I can’t say if there is or is not going to be another season,” said an insider. “But Tammy is looking at other opportunities.” And the 1000-Lb Sisters star wants to try plus-size modeling. “Tammy wants to represent people in her community who have been through what she has been through,” said the source.

1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – A Funeral Becomes ‘Fun’

However, a source also revealed that Tammy considered a spin-off show. The entire Slaton family and producers allegedly have clashed over salaries and the direction of 1000-Lb Sisters.

And it didn’t help when Tammy, Amy, and the rest of the family argued amid filming in Florida.

“The film crew was present,” revealed the source. “But they felt uncomfortable working with them because of the way they were behaving.” And Tammy allegedly threw shade at TLC producers for “faking the narrative.”

For instance, during filming Caleb’s funeral, Tammy believed that producers forced the drama. And the 1000-Lb Sisters star felt that filming seemed “completely not natural.” But she also believed that producers put “things in there to make it seem sad when it really wasn’t that sad.”

And the 1000-Lb Sisters star complained, “People were having fun. But [TLC producers] made it depressing.” Because of how TLC filmed the funeral, Tammy also worried that it would start rumors she quit her diet. However, the 1000-Lb Sisters star has stayed on her diet.
