Tammy Slaton feels ready to begin filming season five of 1000-Lb Sisters. And an insider told the Sun that upcoming episodes will feature Tammy’s surgery. The news about season five comes after rumors that season four would include the show’s final episodes.

However, after cameras followed Tammy, 37, at her late husband Caleb Willingham’s funeral, producers reportedly feel ready to resume with a new season. And the source shared, “The season will be about Tammy’s upcoming skin removal surgery.”

But though skin removal surgery might seem grim, Tammy takes pride in her reason for needing the procedure. And since her gastric bypass surgery last year, the reality TV star has continued taking off the pounds.

The 1000-Lb Sisters star went from 717 pounds to 340 pounds in the period from autumn 2021 to now. 

As a result of her excess skin from extreme weight loss, Tammy wants the skin removal surgery. And so season five will show her preparing for the procedure.

But it also will follow Tammy’s renewed search for romance.

After Slaton’s estranged husband Caleb Willingham died earlier this year, Tammy took time to mourn. But now she feels ready to consider a new romance, according to Pop Culture. 

And after coming out as pansexual in 2021, the 1000-Lb Sisters star wants to expand her dating horizons. “Tammy is pansexual,” shared an insider. “And she’s looking to date a woman right now.” But the source also described the reality TV star as going into a new era of her life.

However, the 1000-Lb Sisters star wants to date casually for now, according to the insider. And though she might look for a same-sex relationship, Tammy wants to take her time.

“Tammy has lost all of this weight,” pointed out the insider. “And she’s ready to get back out there.” However, the source noted that Slaton’s estranged husband’s death hurt Tammy. And the insider added, “Caleb passing away was hard for her. But they were already having problems.”

And the 1000-Lb Sisters star felt as if Caleb lacked enough time for her. For instance, Tammy believed that Caleb “didn’t put effort into trying to move to Kentucky and get out of rehab to be with her.” However, amid their estrangement, Willingham passed away. And that left Tammy to host his burial ceremony near her house in Kentucky.
