Welcome back, Denise Richards! Three years ago, the Bold And The Beautiful star exited the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But recently, rumors have swirled about her comeback. And now Denise finally confirmed all that gossip. “I have filmed some episodes,” Richards revealed to Variety.

And in contrast to the feuds she experienced in the past, Denise has enjoyed the experience thus far. Calling it “fun,” the Bold And The Beautiful star has become a “big fan” of RHOBH. “So it was fun to go back and film a lot of stuff with them.”

However, Richards dropped a bombshell about how she returned. And she described her comeback as totally unplanned. For example, even Bravo’s producers did not expect her at RHOBH star Garcelle Beauvais’ event.

“This all just happened recently on the spur of the moment,” claimed Denise. “I was at her screening as a friend — like a real friend — I didn’t tell anyone I was gonna be there. Production didn’t know. I just showed up, like, for real life, as a real friend in real life.” But that filmed event led to her mutual decision with Bravo to return.

RHOBH Spoilers — Denise Richards Recalls ‘Toxic’ Seasons 

But Richards shared that her status on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills remains unclear. For instance, she won’t appear in the traditional promo shots in which the stars hold their diamonds. However, Denise has attended various RHOBH filmed events. “And so it’s been actually fun,” she added.

After beginning filming season 13 in January, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will begin showing new episodes later this year. But Denise hopes to avoid the downside of the show that she experienced during her previous two seasons on RHOBH. For instance, Richards battled with both Lisa Rinna and Brandi Glanville.

“When I left after my second season, I just felt as though some of the women were very toxic,” shared the Bold And The Beautiful star. “And they played so dirty. I understand there has to be drama,” she added. “But I also think it’s fun to see women having fun, especially this age group.”

And Denise doesn’t worry about returning to that toxic drama. She hopes her costars will join her in sharing opinions without hurting others. “I think it’s great to show you can have fun. But I don’t think it’s a positive message to try and tear people down. You can have your opinions, but don’t try to tear people down. I don’t think it’s right.”
