Savannah Chrisley – Peeks Inside Mom Julie’s Prison

Turning to her Unlocked podcast, Savannah Chrisley offered her family’s followers a look inside prison life for her mother Julie. “My mom, she’s honestly doing really well,” revealed Savannah on her podcast. And she admitted, “I know it sounds crazy for me to say that.”But although the 25-year-old realizes it might sound like a shocker to describe her 50-year-old mom as doing “really well” behind bars, Savannah insisted on a positive spin. For instance, the Chrisley Knows Best alum shared that Julie “made friends” and stays busy in prison.

Since turning herself into the prison on January 17, Julie has developed a routine. “She’s going to church, she’s working, she’s playing some Spades,” noted Savannah. “And when I tell you she’s playing, she’s running a dog on everyone,” added the reality TV star alum. Because Spades ranks as her family’s favorite, she feels “happy to know” about her mom’s game-playing pastime.

Savannah Chrisley – Subhead: Todd Chrisley Scores ‘Amazing’ Prison Gig, Boasts Daughter

Networks canceled Chrisley Knows Best and its spin-offs in the wake of Todd and Julie’s prison sentences. But that didn’t stop Savannah from continuing a Chrisley tradition: Boasting! And so Todd’s daughter boasted about his successes since starting his 12-year stay at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida.

“He is working in the chapel, which is absolutely amazing,” gushed Savannah. “And I could never be more proud of my dad and the man that he is. I get to hear all these people’s stories and how he’s affecting their life and encouraging change.”

Savannah also shared that she feels calmer after hearing her 53-year-old father’s stories about helping fellow inmates learn to “know Jesus. That puts me at peace,” she added. “It lets me know that
they are OK.” And the Chrisley Knows Best clan has found “strength in knowing that this isn’t the end.”
