Golden Bachelor lead Gerry Turner divorced Theresa Nist three months after they married on ABC, and recently, he talked about whether he regrets that and how they get on these days. Read on to find out what he said. 

Gerry Turner Landed Several Gigs

After the split, a lot of people gave the Golden Bachelor lead a very difficult time on social media. Accused of using the ABC show for fame, he nonetheless managed to land a few gigs. After Family Feud, he appeared at a small baseball function. But, he didn’t give any further major interviews since he and Theresa Nist announced their divorce on Good Morning America. 

Most recently, Gerry Turner turned up on The Golden Bachelor to give Joan Vassos some advice about her contestants. Well, he’s still very unpopular, and that didn’t go down too well on social media. But, he did follow that up by chatting with Ryan Field on Playing The Field: A Bachelor Podcast. 

Regrets About Marrying Theresa Nist So Fast?

Ryan Field asked some straight hard-hitting questions, and he wondered if The Golden Bachelor should have rather waited before tying the knot. After all, other Bachelor Nation stars get engaged but don’t always marry so fast. Well, his reply indicated that he would marry her again given the same circumstances  

Gerry Turner told Ryan:

The experience was what it was. Uhh, looking back and trying to change things, it’s easy to have 20/20. But it doesn’t work that way. When you’re in the moment and you’re swept away in the energy, and you’re doing the best you can, certainly, with all the input you have, I really can’t say that I would change anything.

Part of the problem between ABC stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist seems to be that they struggled with “communication.” Does he regret splitting? Well, not really. He said that now time passed, they made the right decision to part. The problem was that they were both “logical thinkers,” however, “emotions got the best of us.” While they still talk to each other, they don’t do it often and they are “both very busy.”
