Fans Calling For Martha Stewart To Be Next ABC “Golden Bachelorette”

ABC recently confirmed the Golden Bachelorette is officially a go; however, they have yet to reveal who said “Golden Bachelorette” will be. As fans wait to hear those details, many are hoping that Martha Steward will be the one to fill those shoes.

Could Martha Stewart Be The Next ABC “Golden Bachelorette”?

While it’s entirely possible that a single lady from the Golden Bachelor could become the Golden Bachelorette, some fans are buzzing about a celebrity for the role. In fact, many are naming Martha Stewart as a possibility.

At the age of 82, Martha looks incredible. It’s also hard to forget the fact that she recently appeared on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover.

Still, last summer Ms. Stewart did comment on the possibility of doing the show when she was first brought up as a possible candidate. At that time, she stated she was “very busy” and didn’t “really have the time” to do a reality television show.

It’s important to note she didn’t outright reject the idea. She also joked around about needing to see the men before she signed up for anything.

Other “Golden Bachelorette” Candidates

According to reports, ABC is set to start filming the Golden Bachelorette after the current Bachelorette season finishes in May.

Hopefully, the show announces who will get wined and dined by prospective golden bachelors for the Golden Bachelorette season, soon.

While fans would love to see Martha, there have been other rumored candidates for the role that would be just as incredible. One is daytime drama legend, 77-year-old Susan Lucci.

Another is fan favorite Susan Noles, who was a part of Gerry Turner’s Golden Bachelor season and officiated the ceremony during The Golden Wedding.

Then again Golden Bachelor’s Joan Vassos or possibly Ellen Goltzer are also two ladies that viewers wouldn’t mind seeing as the Golden Bachelorette.

Still, the job could also be given to Faith Martin or Leslie Fhima, who finished in the final two and three spots during Gerry Turner’s season. Only time will tell.
