Counting On Spoilers – Jill Dillard Book’s New Release Date

The Counting On spoilers suggests that Jill Dillard’s book has a new release date. She has been promoting the tell-all called Counting the Cost. Fans on Reddit noticed that the memoir changed her release date. Initially, it was expected to come out on January 24.

It’s been changed to September 12, 2023, which is much sooner. It’s also the day before Michelle Duggar’s birthday. This leads to the Counting On spoilers that Jill intentionally changed the release date. Some of the fans found this move amusing. She thinks she’s still sticking it to her family.

“Funny that it’s the day before Michelle’s birthday,” one user wrote. Others think it’s a good idea to release the book earlier since there’s an interest in the Duggar family once again. Jill Dillard and her husband Derick appeared on Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets.

They talked about the super-conservative religious upbringing that she grew up in. Jill also talked about Josh Duggar’s scandals. She admitted that she was forced to support him after the news of his molestation came out. During the docuseries, Jill also revealed that she was never paid for her appearances on 19 Kids and Counting even though she signed a contract.

That contract revealed that she wouldn’t get any money out of the deal. The money went to Jim Bob’s production. Fans found it interesting that Jill mostly focused on the religious cult and the contract. They hoped that she would’ve spoken out more about the abuse within the family.

Counting On Spoilers – Jill & Michelle’s Relationship Tarnished

Jill Dillard was still close to Jim Bob and Michelle despite her issues with the family. According to the Counting On spoilers, she decided to go against her parents. She used to be close to Michelle, but it looks like their relationship is tarnished.

Other fans feel that Jill took it too far by changing the release date of her book. She’s trying to do everything differently from her parents. Jill has even stopped showing her kids on social media. She doesn’t want to expose them like her parents did with her.

    I am certain that the popularity of the documentary caused the publisher to push up the release date to have it be released while the Duggars are back in the media news. Jill likely had little influence over it. Authors do not decide book release dates.
