19 Kids and Counting fans now know that recent court papers revealed the battle to overturn his sentence by Josh Duggar took another turn. The point at issue this time, isn’t only his past crimes, but whether Duggar sought to control the administration that handles his imprisonment.

The most recent information arrived on Katie Joy’s vlog, Without A Crystal Ball on YouTube this week. There, she explained the intricacies of Josh’s “habeas corpus” petition. Actually, it was a long and quite complex vlog. so we simplified it a bit.

Per Katie, Josh finalized his appeals process by submitting a lengthy document of “30 pages.” In it, he allegedly accused everyone around him, including the police and his political enemies for his conviction.
Missed Deadlines?
The court, however, alleged that Josh missed his constitutional right to submit a motion of appeal by June last year. In fact, there’s a suspicion that perhaps forgery of records took place regarding compliance.
Actually, prosecutors under the “prison mailbox rule,” argue that any such motion is only timely if it was deposited in the prison’s mail system before the deadline.

Apparently, evidence might show that Josh Duggar’s two documents he wrote came at different times.
The letters by the former TLC star seeemed a bit off. After all, one was missing a prison“timestamp.” Meanwhile the other one revealed a postmark some time later.
Fraudulent Suspicions
Katie Joy explained that federal authorities’ records from Seagoville seem at odds with the system. Apprently, the former 19 Kids and Counting star “did not place them in the document bin.” And, he stands accused of pretending that he did.
Now, the court weighs the possibility that Josh committed perjury when he declared his version of fatcs. In fact, if the judge find that Josh performed an act of “defrauding the court,” consequences could be serious.
Fresh Charges Could Arrive
Along with the dismissal of his appeal“with prejudice,” he could even face fresh charges of “perjury” or obstruction of justice.
Actually, if that happens, he could end up with a further“five years” on each count. So, his stay behind bars could be much longer than his original sentence of about 12 years.
Funding Legal Fees
Meanwhile, Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, gets on with life in Arkansas. In fact, many TCL fans seem a bit stunned because she started breeding dogs as a new buniess income source.
Katie Joy suspected that previously unemplyed TV star might have kickstarted the company driven by the need to fund Josh’s legal expenses.
Additionally, she noted that not long ago, Josh claimed poverty. Last year, he appealed for a court-apponted lawyer.
The vlogger remarked that while it’s suspected that Jim Bob Duggar supports Anna’s family, he might not be willing to pay for Josh’s current legal shenanigans.
