Mackenzie McKee from Teen Mom: The Next Chapter was taken to the hospital after she suffered a lot of pain. The MTV star is pregnant and expecting twins with her fiancé Khesanio Hall. Read on to find out what happened.
Mackenzie Needed Medical Help
The former partner of Josh McKee shared the news about her hospital visit on Facebook a day ago. It sounded very worrying because the mom of three kids said, “I couldn’t survive through one more contraction, so I went into the hospital begging for any help they can give me to ease the pain.”

The TV star added more, and her fans can relax a bit knowing that she got the help she needed. Her post went on, and she added, “I finally got some answers and medication.” Unfortunately, though, the meds made her feel very drowsy. Describing her “zombie” mode, she felt happy because “two good friends came to clean my house and check on my kids. I’m so thankful, and this took such a load off of me.”
Are The Babies Okay?
A follow-up post by Mackenzie McKee showed her lying down while her family members placed their hands on her baby bump. In her caption, the MTV star wrote, “All the boys feeling the kicks.”

Plenty of fans rushed to reassure Mackenzie when they heard about the painful contractions. One of them said, “You’re doing great, keep pushing through!”
More responses followed, and here are a few of them:
- Pregnancy mind in full effect!
Shout out to your friends who came and cleaned! That’s huge for a prego momma. - You’re almost there girl. I know it’s hard, I delivered at 35 weeks with my twins…Once they’re out you’ll feel brand new again I promise!!! Just hang in there.
- I’m happy you’re not feeling alone with this pregnancy! When I had my last baby with my husband, it was SO different having a good man by my side. It was fantastic.
When Are The Twins Due?
People reported in early April that Mackenzie McKee carried her previous pregnancies to 36-37 weeks, [but] she’s aiming for her twins to arrive between 32 and 34 weeks. She hopes to make it past May and into June before they are born.
It sounded as if the TV star suffered from preterm labor. WebMD explains that what happens is you might “start having contractions and true labor after your 20th week of pregnancy and more than 3 weeks before you expect to deliver your babies.”
Obviously, the babies should stay inside the uterus as long as possible to ensure a healthy delivery. So, getting to a hospital was the right thing to do.
