Does Real Housewives Of Atlanta (RHOA) alum Kim Zolciak-Biermann, 44, spend too much time and money on gambling? Her estranged husband Kroy Biermann believes so. And now the 37-year-old wants Kim to get a psychological evaluation amid their divorce drama, according to Us magazine.

Kroy, 37, issued a series of allegations against the RHOA alum. For instance, the former Atlanta Falcons star, 37, claimed his estranged wife “presented very troubling behavior.” And Kroy alleged that her behavior “accelerated in the months leading up to Petitioner’s filing for divorce.” As a result, he claimed that she couldn’t “properly care for the children.” The clashing couple share four young children: Sons Kroy “KJ” Jr., 11, and Kash, 10, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9.

Biermann and Kim tied the knot in 2011. However, after showcasing their supposedly perfect romance on reality TV, the two have battled recently as they try to settle their divorce. For instance, Kroy alleged that Kim spent “substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance.”

Kroy Biermann – Claims Kim Became ‘Consumed With Gambling’

But Kroy also claimed that Kim’s alleged gambling “compulsion has financially devastated the parties.” And he alleged that his estranged wife has become “so consumed with online gambling” that she cannot parent appropriately. He shared thousands of dollars’ worth of checks and withdrawals from their bank account as evidence of Zolciak-Biermann’s alleged gambling.

Kroy filed his documents only a few days after Zolciak-Biermann’s own motion demanding that he undergo a drug test. And she claimed that she felt worried about their children’s safety. Kim also alleged that she observed Biermann “smoking marijuana.” As a result, Kim shared her “serious concerns for the safety and well being of the minor children while in Respondent’s care. She is fearful that the children will be exposed to Respondent’s drug use.”

However, an insider shared that financial problems have taken their toll on the marriage. One report claimed that the estranged spouses owe $1.1 million in back taxes. And a source described the financial stress as causing problems in their relationship.

The “financial burdens have been a strain on their relationship,” said the insider. “Between the tax debt and other financial stresses, it’s been difficult. The tax debt was the straw that broke the camel’s back in their marriage.” Earlier this year, Kim’s and Kroy’s five-bedroom Alpharetta house went into foreclosure after they defaulted on their mortgage payments in August 2022. However, an auction of the property subsequently got canceled.
