Chrisley Knows Best Spoilers – Family Felt Like Fakes
Chrisley Knows Best spoilers, news, and updates reveal that, according to Daily Mail, the TLC personality claimed that executives refused to allow anyone to discuss the Chrisleys’ legal troubles during filming. She added that the prohibition made her family feel “fake.”
The Sassy by Savannah mogul took to her podcast, Unlocked, to explain that her family was left feeling “like fakes” after being ordered not to mention the trial following their indictment in 2019. Todd, 53, and Julie, 50, were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion on June 7, 2022.
The Chrisley Family patriarch and matriarch were sentenced to 19 years combined and began their sentences in separate Federal facilities hundreds of miles apart in mid-January (via Fox 5 Atlanta).
Savannah Chrisley – Claims Execs Made Family Look Like Liars
On her latest Unlocked by Savannah Chrisley episode, Savannah told SiriusXM’s Storme Warren, “All throughout the years, even like everything my parents have been going through, we were never allowed to speak about it. So, we felt like the liars. We felt like the fakes because we’re like, we just want to talk about it. But executives would not allow us to speak about it.”
“And so then we look like the liars and that we didn’t talk about it and it’s a catch-22,” she added, concluding, “It literally will eat you alive because I have gotten to the point where I’m like, I don’t even know if I know who I am.” She fell short of naming actual USA executives by name.
Todd Chrisley – Buys $250K Convertible Ahead of Conviction
Chrisley Knows Best’s 10th and final season began airing on USA in February with reportedly little fanfare. Fans were stunned to see that Todd had purchased a classic Corvette Convertible with a price tag of upwards of $250,000 ahead of his conviction.
The former reality TV star flaunted the opulent expenditure in an episode that was filmed prior to the couple’s conviction. Concerns over money seemed far from the family’s mind at the time as Todd unveiled the mint 1960 Chevrolet Corvette to his father-in-law who marveled at the vehicle.
Quizzing his son-in-law about the details of the car, Todd responded simply, “Well I wouldn’t know about those kinds of things. I bought it because I look good in it.” Catch new episodes of the final season of Chrisley Knows Best on Mondays at 10 PM CST on USA.
