Savannah Chrisley On Kids & Marriage, Robert Shiver

Chrisley Knows Best alums Savannah Chrisley and Nanny Faye got together for a chat. They talked about the death of Nanny’s sweet pup, which hit her and Chase hard, and about marriage and kids with her boyfriend, Robert Shiver. Read on for more details. 

Savannah Chrisley & Nanny Faye On Unlocked 

Chrisley Knows Best fans don’t often see Nanny Faye these days, so it was a treat for them when she appeared on the Unlocked podcast ahead of Christmas. Obviously, she misses Todd and Julie Chrisley, but she seemed to be in good spirits.  

Savannah Chrisley talked about Robert Shiver with Nanny Faye who doesn’t seem to have any issues with him. Before she dated Robert, having hard-launched him in November last year, Savannah dated the late Nic Kerdiles. As that relationship failed, she didn’t have kids, although she is now a guardian to Chloe and Grayson. But she would like her own children. 

Savannah Chrisley Can’t Have A Baby With Robert Shiver Yet

The Chrisley Knows Best star is single, and her boyfriend isn’t with his wife, Lindsay Shiver. But, they can’t marry yet. Robert waits for his divorce from Lindsay who is imprisoned for allegedly attempting a murder-for-hire on her husband, Robert. 

Savannah Chrisley told her grandma that she did not want a baby with a married man. Well, unless he’s married to her. With all the waiting, she claimed that when Robert Shiver’s free of Lindsay, “things will move quick.”

Robert Shiver Is Getting On In Age

Savannah Chrisley doesn’t want to wait around for much longer to have a baby. Elaborating, she told Nanny Faye:

… he’s almost 40, so if he had a child at 40, he’s going to be 60 when they’re 20. I want my kids to be able to enjoy life with him as adults, so it has got to happen sooner rather than later.

While Nanny Faye has no issues with a child out of wedlock or even a great-grandchild from a married man, Savannah Chrisley’s not keen on that. If Robert was single, she would go for a baby. But not while he’s not single. Her reasoning is, “If I had a child with him and we weren’t married, I’m fine with that. But you just can’t be married to someone else when I have that child. That’s a whole different story.”
