As a result of Meri’s and Kody’s connection, Sister Wives star Christine Brown even felt inspired to become part of the plural marriage. But the Sister Wives patriarch and Meri have seen their relationship change dramatically since those early days.

And now Meri confesses that she sees “no reason to hope” that her relationship with Kody can be saved. As a result, she calls it “disappointing” to recognize how they have taken such different paths. 

But Meri also remembers her happy times. And she shares, “I know the person that he was when we got married. I know that the couple that we were,” added Meri, 52.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Christine And Janelle Brown Talk Plural Marriage

Christine and Janelle recalled their first views of Meri’s and Kody’s marriage. And they admitted that watching how the Sister Wives patriarch behaved to Meri motivated them to sign up for the plural marriage.

“I was 18 when I met Kody and Meri, they were so cute,” gushed Christine. “And everybody wanted to be around them. They were the ‘it couple.’ He was so charming with her and just sweet with her. That’s why I became interested in Kody was because of how well he treated Meri and I was like, ‘Yeah, sign me up for that’.”

And Janelle agreed. “When you come into a family as a plural wife, you’re looking to see how the relationships that came before you are faring because you’re not going to come into a relationship if a man can’t manage his family already,” she shared. “When I entered the family, Kody and Meri — they were in love, they were attached, they were connected.”

But since those days, Meri and Kody have become different people. And she admitted that she views it as “just sad” that he gave up on their “three decades of history.”

But Kody doesn’t see any hope for reconciliation. And after the Sister Wives patriarch made it clear that he doesn’t want to work on his relationship with Meri, she agreed to join Christine and Janelle in exiting the plural marriage. As a result, Robyn Brown has become the final wife to hold onto a marriage with the Sister Wives patriarch.

    I blame Robyn Brown for the breakup of all the families. They were doing great until Robyn steps in the picture and then it was all downhill after that for the other wives.
