According to fans of The Voice, Reba McEntire is ruining the show. They can’t stand an annoying habit that she does with new coaches Dan + Shay. On Monday, March 4, The Voice posted a new video on X. The video featured Dan + Shay blocking Reba from taking an artist.
“The taste is a sweet revenge,” the duo said. “We had our first block.”
Reba admitted that she could steal the artist back from the two guys. John Legend shared that three coaches were fighting over the same contestant. This caused a tense moment among the panel. Dan + Shay looked at each other before blocking Reba.
“I knew exactly what I had to do,” Shay explained.
“It felt awesome. Blocking the queen of country music, put that one on the resume,” Dan said.

The Voice fans didn’t find the video amusing. Most were annoyed by the interaction between the coaches. The show has shifted its focus less on the talent and more on the celebrity coaches in recent seasons.
Fans noticed that the coaches had gotten too harsh with one another. Other fans demanded that Blake Shelton should return.
They feel that nothing compares to his rivalry with Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson because it felt authentic at the time.
“The Voice has put the focus on bantering among judges as passed to the talent. That has gotten old,” one fan wrote.
“Once was funny with Blake and Adam… no longer is. Less bantering and sad stories and let talent compete,” another user suggested.
“Dan and Shay have ruined The Voice for me! I can not stand listening to them, never mind watching them,” a third user complained.
“The only The Voice winner I know is Blake Shelton,” declared another fan.

As I do miss Blake, I can’t blame him for doing something else. I love Reba and the other judges. And enjoy the bantering. Changes are good at times. Positive thoughts.

What’s wrong with Reba, love her. Yes, we all miss Blake, but it’s time he does his own thing. People need to quit complaining. If they don’t like it, don’t watch it.
