Vanderpump Rules – Joke Highlights White House Correspondents’ Dinner
Asked to guess who might attend the 2023 White House Correspondents Dinner, the names of reality TV stars likely didn’t appear. As a result, fans of Vanderpump Rules felt shocked to see three co-stars attending the event. And the trio included Ariana Madix. Ariana listened as comedian Roy Wood Jr. joked about the Vanderpump Rules scandal, according to Page Six.
“Scandals have been devouring careers this year,” said Daily Show personality Roy Wood Jr. in his roast. “Tucker [Carlson] got caught up. Got caught up like that dude from Vanderpump Rules,” he added according to Us magazine. The comment referred to Carlson exiting Fox News, comparing it to Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval’s scandal.
Sandoval, 40, and Madix, 37, seemed dedicated to their nine-year relationship until news of the scandal broke. But after learning that Tom had cheated secretly for months with co-star Raquel Leviss, Ariana dumped him. And she has turned her focus to living her best life as a single woman once more.

Vanderpump Rules – Stars Trio Enjoys White House Event
In addition to Madix, Lisa Vanderpump and Lala Kent attended the White House Correspondents Dinner. Photos showed Madix looking fabulous in a white ballgown and matching cape. And she tried to hide her laughter during the joke about her former boyfriend’s cheating scandal.
“I don’t know what Vanderpump Rules is about, I’ve watched it a couple of times,” admitted comedian Roy Wood. “My friends told me it’s like BMF but for white people. Or is that Succession? No, Succession is Power for white people,” he added. But after describing Tucker Carlson as “Power for white people,” Wood added, “You know what, never mind.”
Showing her appreciation for the humor, Ariana even posted a video of Wood’s joke on her Instagram. Madix attended the event as a guest of the Daily Mail. And Lisa Vanderpump also received her invitation from the Daily Mail. However, Lala attended as a guest of the Los Angeles Times.
“My wonderful late grandmother was very active in local politics and I’ve always dreamed of visiting the White House,” revealed Madix. “So this is an incredible honor.” And Lisa referred to her success in lobbying to ban cat and dog meat sales. “I’m also looking forward to visiting Capitol Hill again after we successfully passed resolution 401,” shared the Vanderpump Rules star.
