That’s what some royal fans can’t help but wonder as there’s a new report that says the Princess of Wales might have paid tribute to Steve Jobs when she met the current Apple CEO, Tim Cook. As many readers can remember, Steve Jobs’ signature look was his turtleneck. So, could it be that the Princess of Wales wanted to pay tribute to him by wearing a turtleneck when she met Tim Cook? Maybe.

Cook shared a photo of himself with Prince William and Kate Middleton on Twitter and captioned it with, “It was a true honor to meet with the Prince and Princess of Wales.

We had a wonderful and wide-ranging discussion about the environment, mental health, and other issues that mean a great deal to all of us.”

The Princess of Wales is the only one wearing a turtleneck in the photo. It goes without saying that many royal fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter online.

Everything that’s right about what one should wear for a meeting like this. Nothing gaudy or overdone or ridiculously extravagant like some narcissists do to call attention to themselves.”
