Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have just revealed that baby Archie has reached a new milestone. The royal couple plans to prepare their son Archie Harrison’s solid meals, according to their former chef. Meghan and Harry have been reportedly weaning their six-month-old son. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are hoping to prepare solid meals for their son rather than have him rely on already-prepared meals.
Royal chef Carolyn Robb shared the details on Yahoo UK’s The Royal Story weekly podcast. While the couple has access to “pre-made food” they would like to get more hands-on when it comes their son’s meals. The former royal chef revealed that their baby’s diet is “organic, seasonal and very simple.” Everything that their son eats is “fresh.” Earlier this month, Meghan revealed that Archie is already crawling and teething.
Meghan made this revelation when she was meeting with families from the Coldstream Guards, Welsh Guards, and Household Cavalry at Windsor’s Broom Farm Community Centre. Meghan spoke to military wife Amy Thompson, whose husband Brad is connected to the Welsh Guards. Meghan proudly exchanged stories about her son like any other “normal mum” would, according to the report.
The Duchess even admitted that Archie’s already teething. She spoke about Archie’s first two teeth while talking to a toddler who gave her a rose. Archie first made his debut during an official royal engagement in late September. His appearance was made during Meghan and Harry’s tour of Africa. The little bundle of joy hasn’t been seen since, and it’s unlikely that he will be seen during the Christmas holiday since Prince Harry and Meghan have no plans to spend Christmas with the Queen.

This comes after the couple’s need for privacy. In an interview with the Australian outlet The Sunday Project, Kim Kardashian said she could empathize with Prince Harry and Meghan. She said that she feels that “their journey is extremely personal.” Until the holidays roll around, the Duke and Duchess had a packed schedule filled with commitments and engagements until mid-November in which they will be “taking some much-needed family time,” an insider revealed to People.
