Meghan Markle Enjoyed Fave Fast Food Drive-Thru While Prince Harry Was Away

Royal family news and updates make it increasingly clear that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have agreed to follow separate paths.

And what that meant over the weekend: A fast food drive-through visit for the Duchess of Sussex in California and a speech for the Duke of Sussex in Germany.

Meghan Markle LOVES This Fast Food

The Duchess of Sussex, 41, devoted part of her weekend to heading to her favorite drive-through in California. And photos via People revealed Meghan smiling as she picked up her food at her local In-N-Out Burger.

But though Prince Harry didn’t get to share the treat this time, both he and Meghan have shared their affection for the fast food chain since moving from the U.K. to California. And the Duchess of Sussex named In-N-Out Burger as Harry’s favored fast food place in a recent interview.

“There’s one at the halfway point between L.A. and our neck of the woods,” revealed Meghan. And she called it “really fun to go through the drive-thru and surprise them. They know our order,” claimed the Duchess of Sussex. 

Prince Harry Gushes Over Favorite Fast Food

However, the Duke of Sussex, 38, took on the task of revealing exactly what he and his wife order at In-N-Out. And Harry gushed as he called the fast food restaurant “the best! I order two double-doubles, animal style, fries and a Coke! And that’s just for me!” admitted the Duke of Sussex. 

But Meghan likes to keep her order spicy, according to Harry. And he shared, “Meg gets the cheeseburger and fries with sides of jalapeños. I just stick with ketchup and that special sauce of theirs. So good!”

However, during Meghan’s visit to In-N-Out in California, Harry focused on the Invictus Games in Germany. And the Duke of Sussex founded the sports competition after serving in the British Army for 10 years. The adaptive sports competition features opportunities for veterans and service personnel. 

Meghan Markle Supports Invictus Games

But during his opening ceremony speech, Prince Harry referred to his wife. And he announced, “Now, I’m not saying we play favorites in our home. But since my wife discovered she’s of Nigerian descent, it’s likely to get a little bit more competitive this year,” he added. Harry’s reference stemmed from Meghan finding out that she is 43% Nigerian through a genealogy test.

And though she didn’t attend the opening of the Invictus Games this year, the Duchess of Sussex made her public debut with Prince Harry as a couple at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto. Meghan resided there amid filming Suits. And the former actress has shown her support for Invictus since then.

For instance, the Duchess of Sussex went to the Sydney games with her husband in 2018. And she made her appearance just days after Kensington Palace revealed her pregnancy with her first child, Prince Archie. Meghan also appeared at The Hague in the Netherlands last spring. And she has spoken on different occasions.
